As one of the pioneers in the development of Lipid Resuscitation Therapy for drug induced toxicity, Dr. Bania is interested in evaluating and developing other uses of lipids in drug toxicity. He is interested in the mechanism of action of Lipid Resuscitation and evaluating its use in a variety of toxins. Dr. Bania is also interested in research into the treatment of cardiovascular drug toxicity, chemical warfare agents and various recreational drugs. In addition, his research interest include the use of portable mobile devise to educate ED patients about HIV and encourage testing.
