Dr.Hakami has been involved in clinical research since medical school in 1993. He received a scholarship from Aahus University and Danish Research Council to do research in the field of Cardiomyoplasty at the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA. The result was a peer reviewed article published in the European Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is also co-author in 3 other peer reviewed articles.
